Troubleshooting eMaps
NOTE: The user must be the administrator of their machine for these changes to take affect.

NOTE: In order to change your screen display, you must be a system administrator for your machine. Do not make any changes without consulting your IT personnel, because your video card and monitor must support these changes. Changes made to your resolution could result in damage to your monitor or computer. SDS is not responsible for any such damage.

This will set your security settings to accept the necessary cookies and certificates from the eMapsPlus website, so that you can view maps normally.
Another potential cause of this problem is the absence of the Microsoft Virtual Machine, a script file that allows for the viewing of the maps on eMapsPlus. You should be prompted upon your first visit to eMapsPlus to download this plug-in, but the prompt will not appear if you do not have Administrator privileges on your machine. In this case, your IT personnel will have to log on to your machine as an Administrator, and then browse to the eMapsPlus county websites, where they will be prompted to download and install Microsoft Virtual Machine. Once this download is complete, any user will be able to utilize it and the eMapsPlus website.
